Dirck Riekents 
Dirck was born in 1728 in Völlen, Ostfriesland, Germany and his baptism took place there.1 Dirck's father was Rickend Hinrichs and his mother was Engel Fokken. His paternal grandparents were Hinrich Harms and Trine Margaretha Gödekens; his maternal grandparents were Focke Janssen and Gesche Dirks. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Haat Hinrichs, Fokke (Rÿken), Hinrich, Dirk, Gesche, Trine Margaretha, Margaretha, Arentje (Rÿken) and Sophia. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 8 on March 31st, 1736 in Völlen, Ostfriesland, Germany.
