Thomas Payne 
Thomas was born about 1539 in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, Eng.1 Thomas' father was William Payne and his mother was Margert Ash. His paternal grandparents were Edmund Payne and Elizabeth Walton. He had six brothers and five sisters, named George, Nicholas, Edward, Anthony, Henry, John, Agatha, Elizabeth, Agnes, Anna and Frances. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.
