II was born in 0895 in Bretagne, France.¹ II's father was Alain "The Great" I Duke of Brittany and his mother was Orequen De Rennes. His paternal grandparents were Count Of Nantes Ridoredh and Concubine Of; his maternal grandparents were Count Of Rennes Gurwant and Daughter Of. He had a brother and a sister, named Duke Of Brittany and Miss of. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 7 in 0888.¹
