Joseph Owen 
Joseph was born on October 23rd, 1660 in Simsbury, Hartford, Conn.1 Joseph's father was John Owen and his mother was Rebecca Wade. His paternal grandparents were Richard Owen and Johanna Pitt; his maternal grandparents were Robert Wade and Jemima Rebecca. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Nathanial, Josiah, Danial, Benjamin, Isaac, Mary, Rebecca and Obadiah. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died about 1735 in Lebanon, New London, Conn.1 General Notes
