John de Montfort 
John de was born about 1269.1 John de's father was John de Montfort and his mother was Alice De Plaunche. He had a brother and two sisters, named Peter de, Elizabeth de and Maud de. He was the oldest of the four children. He died on June 24th, 1314 in Battle of Stryvelin, England (or Scotland).1 General Notes

John de Montfort, 2nd baron, summoned to parliament 26 July, 1313, in wihch year he received pardon for his participation in the murder of Piers de Gaveston, and afterwards, marching with the English army into Scotland, was killed at the battle of Stryvelin, when, leaving no issue, he was s. by his brother, Peter de Montfort.
