Hlothere Of's father was King of Kent Earconbert and his mother was Sexburga of East Anglia. His paternal grandparents were Eadbald and Princess of Franks; his maternal grandparents were Anne and Saewara. He had a brother and two sisters, named Egbert I King Of, Earcongota and Eormengild Of.
