Joseph was born on December 31st, 1609 in Bradford, West Riding, Yorkshire, England.1   Joseph's father was Edward Jewett and his mother was Mary Taylor.  His paternal grandfather was William Jewett; his maternal grandparents were William Taylor and Sarah Rogers. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Maximillan, Josias, Mary, Grace, Sarah and Isabell.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died in Boston, Norfolk, Massachsuetts, USA.  He was buried in Rowley, Essex, Massachusetts, USA.1 1

‌Joseph and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on October 31st, 1634 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England.1   They had two sons and five daughters, named Jeremiah, Nehemiah Elder, Hannah, Mary, Sarah, Faith and Patience.


Joseph's second family with Ann Allen

‌Joseph and Ann were married in a religious ceremony on May 13th, 1653 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachsuetts.1   They had a son and two daughters, named Joseph, Faith and Mary.
