Sibyl was born about 1308 in Of Mollington, Banastre, Cheshire, England.1 Sibyl's father was Sir Richard De Hoghton and her mother was Sibyl De Lea. Her paternal grandparents were Adam Hoghton and Aurelia Howick; her maternal grandparents were Sir William De Lea and Clemence Banastre. She had two brothers and a sister, named Adam, Sir Adam and Catherine. She died in 1388.1 General Notes
