Thomas Hobart 
Thomas was born in 1537 in Horden-on-the-Hill, Essex, England.1 Thomas' father was Miles "of Plumstead" Hobart and his mother was Ellinor (Ellen) Blaverhassett. His paternal grandparents were Sir James Hobart and Margery Naunton Lyhart; his maternal grandparents were John Blaverhassett and Jane Tindall. He was an only child.
