William Hilton 
William was born about 1585 in Northwick, Chester, England.1 William's father was William Hilton and his mother was Ellen Mainwaring. His paternal grandparents were William Hilton and Margaret Metcalfe; his maternal grandparents were John Mainwaring and Jane Wright. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Arthur, Edward, Amy and Rebecca. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died on June 28th, 1655 in York, York, Maine, USA.
