Rorek was born about 0725.1 Rorek's father was Harald Hildetand and his mother was IMHILD DE INGERN. His paternal grandparents were Rorek Hildetand and Aud Gyrita "The Deep Minded" Ivarsdatter; his maternal grandparents were King of Saxony Wernecke and Gunilda DE RUGEN. He had a brother named Halfdan. He died in 0810 in battle at Walcheran.1 General Notes
