Aaron or John Fitz Roger who was born in the latter part of the
thirteenth ce ntury in Italy, of Norman parentage, and moved with his
family to London, Eng land circa 1260-70. The family was in the
merchandising business and settled in Kent, Gloucestershire and
Somersetshire.
