Oleg was born about 1147 in of, Chernigov, Chernigov, Ukraine.1 Oleg's father was Svyatoslav III Vsevolodovich of Kiev and his mother was Princess of Polotsk Vasilkovna Mariya. His paternal grandparents were Vsevolod II Yurij Kiev and Chernigov and Mstislavna Princess of Kiev; his maternal grandfather was I Vasilko. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Prince Of, Vladimir I Boris, III, Gleb Pakhomij, Mstislav, Kiev and Chernigov Svyatoslavna, Princess of Vladimir Volynsk Svyatoslavna and Mariya Svyatoslavna Princess of. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died about 1204.1 General Notes
