Halfdan "The Old" was born in 0775.1 Halfdan "The Old"'s father was Halfdan II 'Milldi' Eysteinsson and his mother was Hlif of Westmare. His paternal grandparents were Eystein Halfdansson King in Raumarike and Hilda Ericsdotter Vestfold; his maternal grandfather was Dag of Vestmare.
