George Eliot 
George was born on August 28th, 1569.1 George's father was Edward Eliot and his mother was Emma Sympson. His paternal grandparents were Edward Eliot and Jane Gedge. He had two brothers and a sister, named Bennet, Edward and Jane. He was the oldest of the four children.General Notes
