Roderick W. Stuart, in Royalty for Commoners, 3rd ed., Genealogical Publishing Company, Baltimore MD, 1998, states that Wandelmodis, b. c885, was the daughter of Humbert I, Sire de Salins, not Hugh of Provence, King of Italy, as given by Moriarty, G. 1985, and that she married (1) Guiges II, Sire de Vion, and (2) bef. Oct. 957, Berard de Beaujou in the Mâconnaise. Given the year of her birth, c885, it is difficult to understand how Humbert I, Sire de Salins, could possibly be her father as he lived until 958. This would mean that he would have to have been born prior to 870 to have been her father, thus living for some 88 years--not impossible but unlikely.
