Gerberge was born about 1055.1 Gerberge's father was Eon De Blaison and her mother was Tchélétis De Trèves. Her paternal grandfather was Thibaud II De Blaison; her maternal grandparents were Geoffroi Le Fort De Trèves and Téchildis De Maillé. She had a brother named Jean.
