King of Israel's father was Jesse Abinadah Nahash and his mother was Habliar. His paternal grandparents were Obed of Bethlehem and Abalit; his maternal grandfather was Abrias. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Zeruiah, Nethaneel, Raddai, King of Israel, Shimma, Ozem, Abinadab, Elihu Iliab and Abigail.General Notes
