Robert Constable 
Robert was born about 1250.1 Robert's father was William Constable and his mother was Cecilia Thwenge. His paternal grandparents were Robert Constable and Adela De Oyli; his maternal grandparents were Robert Thwenge and Hugnesina Thwenge. He was an only child. He was knighted with three hundred more at a grand festival atWhitsuntide, in the 34th year of Edward I when the same honour wasconferred by the king upon Edward, Earl of Carnarvon, his eldest son,prepartory to his expedition into Scotland. He was living in the 13thof Edward II.
