James Coffin

James was born about 1542.¹ James' father was Richard Coffin and his mother was Wilmot Chudleigh. His paternal grandparents were John Coffin and Phillippa Hingston; his maternal grandparents were Richard Chudleigh and Maria (Mary) Wadham. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Edward, William, Ann, Christian, Elizabeth, Johanna and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died on December 15th, 1566.¹
