Renaud De was born about 1125 in Chatillon, sur, Loing, France.1 Renaud De's father was Henry I de Chatillon and his mother was Ermengarde de Montjoy. His paternal grandparents were Gautier DE Chatillon and Mahaud (Malande); his maternal grandfather was Seigneur Montjoy Alberic. He was an only child.
