Alexios I Emperor Of was born in 1048 in Constantinople.1 Alexios I Emperor Of's father was Ioannis Komnenos*** and his mother was Anna Augusta Dalassena. His paternal grandfather was Manuel I Comnenus Of Byzantium Commenus; his maternal grandparents were Prefect Of Italy Pharo Alexios and Miss Delassene. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Manolis, Adrianos, Nikephoros, Maria, Eudoxia and Theodora. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on August 15th, 1118.1 General Notes
