Lambert was born in Hange, Germany.1 Lambert's father was Giseke Budde and his mother was Margarete De Bar. His paternal grandparents were Lambert Budde and Elseke Voss. He had five brothers and a sister, named Klause, Gerhard, Gisbert, Hugo, Klaus and Maria. He died on September 9th, 1556 in Freren, Germany.1 General Notes

‌Lambert and Petronella were married in a religious ceremony on August 11th, 1528.1 They had three sons and four daughters, named Johann, Friedrich, Giseke, Anna, Maria, Elisabeth and Margarete.
