William I de Braose 
William I de was born about 1049 in <, Brienz, Bern Canton, Switzerland>.1 William I de's father was Robert de Brusse and his mother was Emma de Bretagne. His paternal grandparents were Rognvald Brusesson and Arlogia Vladimirovna; his maternal grandparents were Alan III de Bretagne and Bertha de Blois. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Allan, Adelm, Robert de, Philina, Hortolina and Amicia. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died in 1087 in , Bramber, Sussex, England.1 General Notes
