Hugh was born in 1230 in Brandeston, Warwick, England.1   Hugh's father was Hugh Brandeston and his mother was Mrs. Brandeston.  His paternal grandparents were Radus De Brandeston and Mrs. De Brandeston.  He was an only child.


Hugh's family with Sibell

‌Hugh and Sibell were married in a religious ceremony in 1254.1   They had two daughters named Rose and Agnes.
