Maud (Mary) was born about 1080 in Belvoir Castle, Belvoir, Leicestershire, England.1   Maud (Mary)'s father was Roger Bigod and her mother was Adeliz De Todeni. She had a brother and four sisters, named Hugh, Maud, Cecily De, Gunnora and Jane.  She was the oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Hugh and Jane.  She died before 1136 in England.1

‌Maud (Mary) and William De were married in a religious ceremony about 1101 in Norfolkshire, England.1   They had a son and a daughter, named William "Strong Hand" D' and Miss De.
