Ralph Allen 
Ralph was born about 1615 in Thurcaster, Leicester, England and his baptism took place in Newport.1 Ralph's father was George Allen and his mother was Catharine (Collins) Starke. His paternal grandfather was Ralph Allen. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, John, George, Rose and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died in 1698 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts.1 General Notes
