Berta di Este

Berta was born in 0990.  Berta's father was Oberto II di Lucca  and her mother was Railinda di Como.  Her paternal grandparents were Oberto I di Toscano  and Guilla di Bologna; her maternal grandparents were Olderado di Como and Railinda di Verticilio. She had a brother named Azzo I.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 47 in 1037.

They had three daughters named Adelais, Irmgard and Adelaide.
