Matilda (Maud) was born in 1163 in Boulogne,Pas-de-Calais,France.  Matilda (Maud)'s father was Matthieu (Matthew) Von Lothringen and her mother was Marie de Blois.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 48 in 1211.
