George Tedford 
George was born in Rockbridge County,Virginia or Belfast Ireland. George's father was Robert James Tedford and his mother was Jane Jenny White. His paternal grandfather was Alexander Tedford. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Alexander and Mary. He had two half-brothers named James and Robert James. He died on September 12th, 1823 in Blount County,Tennessee. He was buried in Hamill-Tedford Cemetery.-
