Mabel was born in 1026 in Alencon,Eure,France. Mabel's father was William II (Guillaume II) Talvas and her mother was Hildeburge De Beaumont. Her paternal grandparents were William De Belleme and Hildeburg Ganelon; her maternal grandparents were Ralph II De Beaumont and Eremburga DE MONTREVAULT. She had two brothers and a sister, named William de la Ferte, William I De La Ferte and Mabel D' Alencon. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 53 on December 2nd, 1079 in Bures Castle.General Notes
