Howard Franklin was born about October 1851 in Pennsylvania. Howard Franklin's father was Thompson Kutchin and his mother was Mary Cops. His maternal grandparents were John ? Cope and Sarah Smith. He had a brother and two sisters, named FRED W., LESLIE THOMPSON and MARY A.. He was the oldest of the four children.
‌Howard Franklin and Mary Lucinda were married in a religious ceremony on September 24th, 1896 in Cass Co.,Illinois. They had a son and three daughters, named LIVING, Nellie June, LIVING and Dolly Ruth.
