Edith was born in 1074 in Greystoke,Cumberland,England.  Edith's father was Forne FITZ SIGULF.  Her paternal grandfather was Sigulf FITZ FORNE. She had a brother named Ivo.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 78 in 1152.
