Alberic II was born in 1090 in Hedingham,co. Essex,England. Alberic II's father was Alberic (Aubrey) I De Vere and his mother was Beatrice Castellan De Gand. His paternal grandfather was ALPHONSO DE GHISNES ; his maternal grandparents were Henry Castellan De Gand and Sibilla DE MANASSES. He had two brothers and a sister, named Aubrey II The Crusader, Guy and Alice. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 51 on May 11th, 1141 in London,England.-
