Owain Ap GWYNEDD

Owain was born in 1087 in Caernarvonshire,Wales. Owain's father was Gruffydd Ap Cynan and his mother was Angharad Verch OWAIN. His paternal grandparents were Cynan Ap IAGO and Ragnaillt O'Olaf; his maternal grandparents were Owain Ap Edwin and Morwyl verch Ednywain. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Owain 'Gwynedd', Cadwaladr, Owain Fawr, Owain Gwynedd, Gwenllian I verch and Susanna Verch. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 82 in 1169.
