Muhammad "The Prophet" was born in Mecca.  Muhammad "The Prophet"'s father was Abdullah ibn Abdul AL-HASHIM and his mother was Amini bint Wahab AL-ADNAN .  His paternal grandparents were Abdul Chief of Bani Hashim AL-HASHIM and Fatima bint `amir of Ben MAKHZUM ; his maternal grandfather was Wahab ibn Abd AL-ADNAN.  He was an only child.  He died in Medina.

They had two daughters named Ruqayyah bint Muhammad and Umm.
