Humility was born in January 1671 in Portsmouth, RI.  Humility's father was Joshus COGGESHALL and her mother was Joan WEST.  Her paternal grandparents were John COGGESHALL and Mary TUCKER; her maternal grandfather was Matthew WEST.  She was an only child.
