George Thomson 
George was born on June 9th, 1822 in Edinburgh, Scotland. George's father was George Alexander Thomson and his mother was Mary Harvey. He was an only child. He died at the age of 72 on November 16th, 1894 in Lansing, Iowa.
George and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on November 24th, 1844 in Glasgow, Scotland. They had ten sons and two daughters, named George Alexander II, William I, Thomas, Richard, Alexander I, Alexander II, William II, Frank, Harry, Edward, Flora Harvey and Mary.
