David Caldwell 
David was born on August 27th, 1785 in Campbell Co., Virginia. David's father was Oliver Caldwell and his mother was Isabella Cook. His paternal grandfather was Joseph? Caldwell; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Cook and Mary Means. He had three brothers and a sister, named George Washington, Andrew, Daniel Cook and Nancy. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had three half-brothers named James, Joseph and John. He died at the age of 47 on May 7th, 1833 in Smithland, Kentucky.-
