Walter's father was Humphrey Wever and his mother was Joyce verch Jenkin. His paternal grandfather was Ieuan UNKNOWN. He had a half-brother named Walter.General Notes

32. WALTER WEAVER (son of No. 31). The pedigree of the branch of theHerefordshire Weavers from which we are descended begins with his namewithout any particulars. The reason for the omission of other items isdiscussed in Chapter Three. His descendants changed the name to Weaver,thus emphasizing their separation from the main Welsh line whichcontinued to use the original form -- Wever. Some have thought that hemarried a Welsh woman and his descendants did not care to advertise thefact.
