Thankful was born in <Falmouth,,MA>.  Thankful's father was Rueben Swift and her mother was Temperance WEEKS.  Her maternal grandparents were David WEEKS and Honor Weeks. She had five brothers and four sisters, named David, Abishai, Nathaniel, Eliphalet, Shubael, Rebecca, Anna, Mercy and Eliphalet.
