Ansel was born on November 8th, 1799 in <Mattapoisett,,MA>. Ansel's father was Shubael WEEKS and his mother was Eliza Elizabeth TOBEY. His paternal grandparents were Rueben Swift and Temperance WEEKS. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Warren and Lucinda. He died at the age of 76 on August 5th, 1876.General Notes
