Christopher was born about 1473 in Of Clifton,Rock Sabage,Cheshire,England. Christopher's father was John SAVAGE and his mother was Catherine STANLEY. His paternal grandparents were John SAVAGE and Elizabeth (Eleanor) BRERETON; his maternal grandparents were Thomas STANLEY and Joan (Jane) Goushill. He had ten brothers and six sisters, named Lawrence, Robert, John, James, Thomas, Humphrey, Richard, William, George, Edward, Eleanor, Margaret, Elizabeth, Miss, Alice and Katherine. He was the second youngest of the seventeen children. He died in 1513.General Notes
