David's father was David Murray and his mother was Isabel Stewart. His paternal grandparents were Walter Murray and Margaret le Baird; his maternal grandparents were John , Baron Of Lorn Stewart and Isabel , Of Lorn de Ergadia. He was an only child. He died about 1452.
