James Mackay 
James was born about 1712. James' father was Robert Mackay and his mother was Ann Brown. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Mackay and Jane Dunbar; his maternal grandparents were William Brown and UNKNOWN Ann. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Zachariah, Moses Green, Mary, Margaret, Hannah, Leah and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
