Phoebe was born on November 28th, 1711 in Barnstable,Harwich,MA. Phoebe's father was John FREEMAN and her mother was Mercy WATSON. Her paternal grandparents were James Freeman and Sarah Merrick; her maternal grandparents were James Freeman and Mercy HODGE. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named John, Eli, Elkanah, Sarah, Mercy, Thankful, Mary, Elisha and Elkanah.
