Charles was born on November 24th, 1711 in York Co.,Virginia. Charles' father was Henry Jr. FREEMAN and his mother was Barbara CALTHORPE. His paternal grandparents were Henry FREEMAN and Martha HOPKINS. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Calthorpe, John, John, Henry, Henry, Elizabeth, Anna Maria and Anna Maria. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He had three half-sisters named Martha, Sarah and Elinor. He died at 2 months old on January 29th, 1712 in ,York,VA.General Notes
