Miss was born about 1274.  Miss' father was John Red Comyn and her mother was Joan Johanna De Valence.  Her paternal grandparents were John The Black Comyn and Eleanor De Baliol; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume De Lusignan Valence and Joan Munchensy.  She was an only child.
