Granville Carthy

Granville was born about 1830 in Missouri.¹   Granville's father was Joseph Carthy and his mother was Julia Jamison Carthy.  His paternal grandparents were James Carthy and Sally UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were John Jamison and Susannah Cape. He had four brothers named James, John, Lafayette and William.  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Lawrancy.
