Her maternal grandparents were James Freeman and Sarah MERRICK. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Barnabas, Isaac, Mark, Simeon, Mary, Dau, Elizabeth, Mercy, Desire and Mary. She was the third oldest of the twelve children.
